David-Muir

David Muir (born August 25, 1949) is an American anchor, journalist and reporter. He is most well-known for his show World News Tonight. Through its animated movements and funny videos of celebrities' chatter, his program has grown to become the most watched newscast in America. Made In America was nominated for an Emmy. He was Diane Sawyer's main replacement anchor until he was appointed anchor at ABC World News Tonight. In recent years he's covered a variety of ABC News primetime specials including Breaking Point Heroin in America. He has been to many locations around the globe reporting the latest news. From Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti, and the Gulf of Mexico. The awards he has received include numerous Edward R. Murrow Awards, as well as honors by the Associated Press.
