Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born in the year 1996) is an American actress popular for her portrayal of detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS detective procedural drama CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence and The Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama series The Resident. The actress also won acclaim for her dramatic television debut of Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap series Guiding Light. The notable films she has appeared in includes 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. There is speculation that she's working on a movie adaptation of the autobiography written by writer Elisabeth K. Kubler-R The Wheel of Life with Vlas as well as Charley Parlapanides. They were the team who wrote the movie Immortals. In addition, she is filming a brand new show called Gods & Heroes.
